La bibliotecas de OCLC, en conjunto, administran una gran cantidad de conocimientos. Al trabajar juntos, logramos que esta información sea más visible y accesible a los usuarios finales a través de datos compartidos de WorldCat, programas de distribución y asociaciones. Este intercambio de ideas crea conexiones dentro y fuera de la comunidad bibliotecaria. Avanzamos con decisión

Cuando nos reunimos para formar una red, podemos enfrentar adecuadamente  desafíos compartidos. Además, podemos comprender mejor las necesidades de los investigadores, estudiantes, bibliotecarios e innovadores. Aprendiendo unos de otros y apoyándonos mutuamente, trazamos un rumbo más claro en el cambiante panorama de la información. Únase a miles de bibliotecas miembro y ayude a forjar el futuro.

El impacto es mayor cuando trabajamos juntos a fin de proteger las bibliotecas y aumentar su visibilidad. OCLC tiene una larga trayectoria en materia de creación, prueba y ampliación de programas que promueven las bibliotecas y la biblioteconomía. Algunos ejemplos incluyen: Supercharged Storytimes for All, Small Libraries Create Smart Spaces y el programa de Administración de colecciones digitales, así como WebJunction, un centro de aprendizaje en línea para bibliotecarios.

La historia de Clarkston Independence District Library ilustra el poder de la cooperación entre bibliotecas. Un programa comunitario desarrollado por OCLC proporcionó materiales y formación que ayudó a que Clarkston no solo sobreviviera, sino que se ampliara y respaldara más eficazmente el dinamismo y el desarrollo locales.
